Noscript not saving settings in Firefox Quantum

Now that I understand the 'double click' I think it works well enough. However, the fact that I floundered for three days and came here to discover what was wrong is an indication that either a) I'm a dolt, or b) the UI could use a bit of help somehow (a better, or two-state tool tip depending on how it's set). The fact that I knew to come here etc. probably rules out "a"

I think Giorgio said he changes the tooltip soon.

As mentioned above I would also vote for an indication in the text field to ease the confusion. Something like:

I sent in a donation a couple weeks ago when the upgrade to the new version of FF was being developed. I want to mention that since I started using NoScript about five years ago, I have not gotten a spec of malware on a PC. One has to manage the addon, and it isn't for everybody (I didn't put it on my 93-year old dad's PC), I am willing to use it and keep possibly crippling malware off my PC, better than after-the-fact removal e.g. Malwarebytes which might be after one's identity has been stolen or bank account drained.

Just as a conversational note: Although I am using NS for the security benefits (of course), I also enjoy the fact (possibly more so) that I can block scripts that are attempting to turn me into a metric - something to be analyzed, inspected, and "aggregated". I find a distinct pleasure in that. There are sites that can analyze your entire session with them and know what you do in real-time - and that's the short version of the answer! Like I said, I love blocking those analytical type scripts.
