10.1.4 on Linux gets stuck

Several problems I've noticed.

• Can you order the Forum Support page so that newer entries are at the top? It doesn't appear to have any intrinsic ordering.
• On a new tab, when I click on the NoScript icon on the URL bar (to show page status) it brings up entire NS interface (the NS Options page)
• Bringing up entire NS interface (NS Options) takes forever and seems to lock up or slow down everything (all other tabbed pages) so that I end up having to restart FF. It appears to me that bringing up the entire NS interface loads some huge data structure in memory, generates millions of GUI objects, and makes hundreds of thousands of sqlite queries (or something) to populate it, taking forever. And then the code gets lost in the maze of the data structure and sucks up the entire FF browser's ability to run JS on any other tab.
• I'm unable to visit the site trustedid.com and have anything displayed. The little thumbnail image that shows up in the tab looks good, but the page is blank. Clicking on the NS button, takes me down the path described above (the NS Options page comes up, rather than just the page-specific whitelist) and I ultimately have to restart FF (and I have to use Chrome to visit trustedid.com).
• I uninstalled NS and reinstalled it, but no luck on fixing the above problems.

One more big problem. One the entire NS interface (NS Options: the entire huge long list of blocked/unblocked sites) gets opened, then my mail.yahoo.com tab is unable to work. Before opening the entire NS list, mail.yahoo.com works fine. Opening the small drop-down NS list doesn't cause any problems. But if I choose the entire whitelist button (NS Options), then everything falls apart for yahoo (and I believe some other sites are also affected). Even if I close the NS Options tab, yahoo doesn't seem to recover. But if I open and then later close the NS Options page without ever having revisited the yahoo tab, then I'm able to go back to the yahoo tab without problems.

All of this must have something to do with the GUI rendering, I'm thinking.

NoScript is a WebExtension, so it can't operate on Firefox internal pages like the new tab page. So it opens the NS Options page instead.

That page is ordered in the following way:
1) Announcements, sorted by time of last post, most recent on top

2) Stickies, sorted by time of last post, most recent on top

3) All other posts, sorted by time of last post, most recent on top

It doesn't normally work that way. When I click on the NS button, it opens a dropdown menu of JS items on the current page. But when I open a new tab and then click on the button, why doesn't the button work the same way (as I would expect it would)?

Because the new-tab isn't a page that no-script can interact that way with.
If it catches an XSS warning it originates not from about:newtab but from [...] because about newtab isn't a webpage in that sense.
Basically it isn't allowed to work like that.

If you want to change options for webpages prior to visiting them you have to go via the addon options of FF.

In FF http://trustedid.com doesn't resolve to anything, it just times out for me.
Are you trying to visit the website of the equifax service?
That would be https://www.trustedid.com

trustedid.com has an ip, but apparently no webserver running there. So I don't know what you are trying to accomplish. (While firefox is trying to connect though it still is on it's own internal site though, and the above about Noscript tiggering the options is the reason.)

edit: Interesting sidenote: If you wait for trustedid.com to timeout, if you press the NS icon afterwards it doesn't open the options but asks if you want to reload the tab instead, because it realises that the side is not loaded.

I am having the same freezing problem on Linux with NoScript and am running version the latest version. All versions have done the same thing, which is when opening up the settings GUI, it makes the browser take a complete nosedive. Then when closing that tab and opening up additional tabs, the entire page will be black or not...it's random, and the entire browser slows down. The only way to fix it is no restart the browser...god forbid that you actually have to open the settings again because the same exact thing will happen. Any fix in the works? I saw something about this is the change log (a workaround) in one of the recent updates but it is still definitely not fixed!
