[FIXED] NoScript 10.1.3 (not RC) un-maximizes FF57
[FIXED] NoScript 10.1.3 (not RC) un-maximizes FF57
Whatever changed between 10.1.3 RC3 and the full release of 10.1.3, it now un-maximizes FF57 when you click the icon, and displays the menu in a completely new window rather than as it should (as a bubble) some of the time (not all the time). Nothing in the release notes about anything changing that could likely explain this bug.
Here's an example of the separate window:

Also, when the window has been un-maximized, clicking the NoScript icon repeatedly moves the FF window over to the right a few pixels at a time with each each click.

Can confirm.
Opening the options when in maximised window un-maximises and opens the layover in seperate window.
Can also confirm seperate reported issue that opening the overlay resizes the non-max window by a pixel each time.

Clicking Noscript icon puts Browser out of full screen mode
Hey after my last problem is now fixed i noticed that every time i click on the Noscript icon to allow some processes or to see what i have allowed it puts my browser out of the maximized mode. When it is in this mode the icon functions as it did normally.
Its not as inconvenient as the last problem im fine with leaving it that way for the time being but in the long run it can become quite nervewrecking i believe.

NoScript 10.1.3 reduces Firefox window size to "Restore"
Just installed FF 57 and it shows me NoScript 10.1.3. Nice!
However, when I click on the NS icon at upper right to see what it's doing, it reduces the FF window size to "Restore" size instead of "Maximum" size. I have to hit the "Maximize" button at far upper right to put the Max size back, and then the NS dropdown closes.
How to fix?
Thanks.

Hopefully it gets fixed very quickly because the extension is nearly unusable at this moment.
Edit: I'm exaggerating. It's nowhere near unusable. It's just really annoying and not behaving correctly. Still needs to be fixed ASAP.

Eh, I guess we have different definitions of "unusable".
It's slightly annoying, yes.

That's fair. It's not ACTUALLY unusable but it definitely is more difficult than it should be.

I can confirm this bug as well. Tested in a clean profile.

Workaround is rolling back to 1.3c3 here
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... /versions/
Going by the changelog that seems to be the easiest way to avoid this bug without losing significant progress (just don't disable xss and manually check your rules)

I notice that with 10.1.3, every time I click the NoScript icon the browser window expands horizontally slightly to the right. With 10.1.3c3 it stays the same size. I would suspect this is related.

Yep. That's what I was referring to in my edit of the original post. I didn't notice that the window expands, though - I just thought it was moving to the whole window right - however, you are correct (it is just expanding to the right).barbaz wrote:I notice that with 10.1.3, every time I click the NoScript icon the browser window expands horizontally slightly to the right. 10.1.3: Glitchy menu behaviour enlarging main window
Clicking repeatedly on noscript icon opens dialog with Noscript Options on it's titile, some times noscript Settings page, but also enlarges the window width when opening the popup menu, whitch is a very annoying. All recorded on the video below (unlisted on YouTube):

Re: NoScript 10.1.3 (not RC) un-maximizes FF57
I am also seeing the window unmaximizing when clicking the NoScript icon. And sometimes the Drop down menu opens up as a separate window.

When repeatedly opening the NoScript menu, a white bar will appear on the left side and will grow with every click: https://media.giphy.com/media/xUOxeWsor ... /giphy.gif
