One thing I really think he should aim at:
Have the ability to change what "default/trusted/not trusted" means limited to the options menu. I think way too many new users think they're adjusting for the current domain only, while tinkering with those settings.

Further to my comment above ... previously broken reports now all appear to be fine [Office 365, Gmail and Google search].

I still have the empty menu as per this post. I've also tried uninstalling/reinstalling noscript, without success.

While I understand the reasoning, the counter argument could be made that it force one of two scenarious:Azijn wrote:One thing I really think he should aim at:

A) a situation where the 4th button behaves differently than the first three.
B) Hiding the custom options there, too.
Neither seems that much more intuitive than seeing that you can change all four, thus it not really making sense to have "custom" at all, if the other three are customizable per domain, too.
So.... I don't think you are wrong in seeing a problem, but I don't see a problem free solution.
Or put differently: No script always required at least a BIT of experimentation and analysis to get things right, and I don't think seeing that all defaults change when you change one default is too much to ask :/

Same here. Twitter and a bunch of other web pages are looking really bad with web elements just rectangles every where. Makes me want to turn the addon off. I can provide a screenshot of Twitter of how it currently looks broken. It doesn't want to load things past the initial first set of tweets either. I've tried check marking everything under trusted, but it refuses to keep those permissions. Is there anything I can do to fix it?bcmac401 wrote:Today after my version updated to c3 I started having all kinds of problems with website elements not loading correctly. Specifically I had issues with my work website's custom back end, and when I went to Twitch almost everything was broken elements. I took some screenshots & can provide if needed.

Does this mean that manually fixing Trusted is no longer necessary?https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/noscript/versions/10.1.3 wrote:v 10.1.3
=============================================================
x Hotfix for wiped TRUSTED permissions
x Hotfix for NoScript failing to load if XSS was disabled in
previous session

I removed some settings from trusted and upgraded from 1.3c3 to 1.3 to check as best as I could
The new version didn't put them back.
So I guess it checks for 3c2 upgrades (which I can't check), to avoid messing with the settings of people who upgrade from 1.3c3.
Which means people who still had their borked settings but already upgraded still will need to fix their settings, I assume.

Re: to all topic from today: NEW VERSION
I could be wrong, but this new version appears to perform the window action "restore" before displaying the no script dialog, when I click the no script button from the toolbar.
I have to reclick "maximize" on my Firefox window everytime I have clicked the no script button.
anyone else noticing that?
