I fixed by downgrading like anket did.

@ Giorgio:
The answer to your question is yes. I make a point of installing NoScript as root since the regular user has insufficient permissions to perform the install.
Whenever I have to upgrade/downgrade, I use GKSu to start Seamonkey.

@anket:
how many extensions have you got? Is there any trace of NoScript in your profile's chrome directory?

I have Adblock Plus and NoScript installed; the latter is installed system-wide as root.

Re: NoScript Installed but appears AWOL...
OK, if you've got only NoScript and Ablock Plus, could you try http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_ ... ew_profile and then reinstalling both?

Re: NoScript Installed but appears AWOL...
I know it has been about five months since I last raised this issue, but the result is still the same. I just finished a fresh install of the entire system, and the only information I carried over was my bookmarks.
Any ideas on what else could be the matter. I have avoided upgrading this extension because every version I have tried since 1.9.5 has yielded the same result.
