New Noscript Default Options
New Noscript Default Options
When noscript updated to its quantum version, the default option was set up, for some reason, to allow all scripts etc running, instead of blocking them. When I expanded the default button options all the allow options were ticked, i.e. the default and trusted buttons had the same configuration! Now, I realize I can untick the boxes manually, but what is the "default" default configuration? Which things are supposed to be blocked (i.e. un-ticked) and which should be allowed (i.e. ticked) in the default option/button?

Re: New Noscript Default Options
in the least, you'd want scripts to be unticked on the Default setting for NoScript to be called NoScript.

@GeorgeV - this is what @Barbaz wrote as I had asked the same:GeorgeV wrote:When noscript updated to its quantum version, the default option was set up, for some reason, to allow all scripts etc running, instead of blocking them. Unfortunately, these DEFAULT settings do not stick at all after several restarts of the browser. Mine were all checked in DEFAULT. If you change anything in CUSTOM, it will change those DEFAULT settings again and you're brought back into a vicious cycle of repeating those setting changes.barbaz wrote:NoScript 10.1.1, Firefox 57, new profile
DEFAULT: only "frame", "fetch", "other" checked
TRUSTED: all checked
UNTRUSTED: nothing checked
CUSTOM: I don't think it has a set default. Seems to pick up whatever you last clicked.
