A new user would be baffled by how to use this. I would greatly like to see an option to go back to the original UI versus the icons.
This is unfortunately often what happens when engineers try to do UI :/ (and I say this as an electronic design engineer, that also loves art, but is aware of my limitations)...

agree on not wanting to have to click twice and that it's not intuitive, just my input.
problem:
finally figured out the page doesn't automatically reload when you temporarily allow, you have to click that green arrow at the top. BUT, if the page is http vs. https, the permissions do not stay unless I allow all the page, which I don't want to do. I saw some mentions on this but I never could figure out a resolution.
How do I make temporarily allow of one part of the page stay when it's an http site?
thanks

That being said this new interface for the new version of Firefox is so obtuse its almost broken. Did any of you actually try surfing about and using it before the release?
Before it was so easy to just select "temporarily allow all this page" to get by on one visit to a new page...two clicks
Now what the hell am I supposed to do? You hid that function under some secret button? WHY?
The old interface worked well and everyone knew it. Please do not fall victim to the disease that Microsoft has where they take something that works fine and rearrange and redesign for no other reason than to justify the upgrade. it's almost malicious. If it ain't broke....
Oh, do lighten up. Mozilla forced the change on Giorgio and the new version is still in very early stages. What you see now is far from the finished product.
Feel free to uninstall NoScript and take a break from using it for a while, world will keep on turning.
I am pretty sure Mozilla did not force a complete UI overhaul on poor Giorgio..

It's always good to be sure when you are wrong. Look up " WebExtensions API" The fact of the matter is that as I understand it the "menu based" type of addon just wasn't portable.
But you can go ahead and look at https://hackademix.net/
He has been rather responsive in answering.

Why the hell do I need to go to a 3rd website to find the documentation on the new UI?

To boot, the "individually allow" temporary works differently than previously so maybe that's why no one knows how to even stumble across it? I'm sure the fact that that icon isn't proportionally sized with the rest has nothing to do with it in addition
