I just came across this new-ish dm, it seems really nice. open source, windows only written in .NET. it doesn't have an installer, so no default location...
could FG add autodetection for WideStream?

Re: WideStream download manager
Probably there is no need to autodetect location of WideStream. When WideStream is first lunched it automatically creates a registry entry HKCU/Software/WideStream/StartupPath that contains its full startup path. This entry is beign updated each time an application is ran - so if you move its binaries from folder to folder it will always remember the last location.
This registry key is already used by WideStream to implement integration with MSIE and Opera.
