how to add comments to XSS exception list?

Is it OK to add # comments to the XSS exception list? I've seen it done before but IIRC, it's environment dependent.

I looked at the code. It doesn't appear to have a way to specify comments.
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
