problem with local links

Post by hgroth »

I have a problem with local links which I have allowed individually but every time I try to access a local link
it is blocked and I have to reload the page and then it works.

If so, see viewtopic.php?f=7&t=22805

exactly what I stated in my initial posting. When I go to a local link, it is blocked and then I have to reload the
page and then it works.

So, to be clear, you added the full address including the port in NoScript Options > Whitelist, and you still have to reload before it is allowed?

I added the local IP to the white list, but it will not let me include the port.
When I go to the local address, it is blocked until I reload the page. I dont
remember when it started happening, but I just completely deleted Firefox
with all Add ons and settings and then reinstalled it again and still the same
problem.

Yeah, it won't unless you completely remove it from your whitelist first. When adding it back, you need to include both protocol and port. So if you access your site at http://10.0.0.1:8080/, you would add -

Code: Select all

http://10.0.0.1:8080
