[RESOLVED] Page won't load properly with NoScript enabled
Hello
The page http://showcase.joomlabamboo.com/jul09/ works correct (menu/submenu) only if I turn off NoScript in Tools/Add-on menu of Firefox. Turning off NoScript globally doesn't let the scripts to work. Is it NoScript bug or webmaster error?

http://www.groklaw.net with noscript 1.9.7.7 same thing. Mac OS X 10.5.7 (9J61), FireFox 3.5.1, the logo is misplaced causing the page to not fit in any width browser window.

It works here. NoScript 1.9.7.7, Windows XP
Try temporary allow all this page when the page doesn't seem to work even if you whitelist its domain.
Sometimes you need whitelist more than 1 domain to make things work.
You don't need allow scripts globally (dangerous!) to make things work.

No problem here. The logo looks fine even in NoScript 1.9.7.7 but I'm using Windows XP.

Here's what I tested in a clean profile using NoScript 1.9.7.7
Temp allowed the main domain plus googlecode.com and this let menus stick for selection ok.
then
Allow Globally and this also let menus stick for selection just the same.
I'm pretty sure you have something else going on in your Firefox configuration.
Would you like to try the general troubleshooting steps shown in the second link in my sig?
Make sure you get the latest development version first - it's the way the developer works.

Thank you very much for your help. Still not working

Before checking my NoScript and Firefox according to the detailed recipe, just a short info: I work with Windows Vista, NoScript 1.9.7, Firefox 3.5.1.
Anybody tried it on Vista?

Your NS version is out of date.witraze wrote: Before checking my NoScript and Firefox according to the detailed recipe, just a short info: I work with Windows Vista, NoScript 1.9.7,
The latest official one is 1.9.7.7, and for troubleshooting - since that's the way the developer works to help with bugs - you should install the latest development version 1.9.7.8, link is the first one in my sig. It is an accumulation of fixes, as reported by users, and is not an unsafe version to use.
After doing that, try resetting your NS. It can often be the solution to problems.

1.9.7.8 fixes my issues experienced immediately under 1.9.7.7 as well

1.9.7.8 fixes problem with webmin menu display also, that 1.9.7.7 introduced (dropdown menu was terribly garbled, with links on top of links on top of links).

Most problems solved with development version 1.9.7.85, but not all, here must Noscript deactivated for correct display:

Could you elaborate? I can't see any difference between Firefox+NoScript and Opera with JavaScript disabled...Guest wrote:Most problems solved with development version 1.9.7.85, but not all, here must Noscript deactivated for correct display:

Still cannot reproduce, the video shows normally for me with no overlappings.
Are you sure you're on latest development build? Could you try disabling all the other extensions?
