Re: Temporary allowed is gone? i want the 'version before' BACK!
first: excuse me for my english.
i am REALLY UPSET (2nd).
you did kill noscript tool (for me) with version " 1.9.7.7. "
in most cases the 'temporary allowance" (don't know if this is a correct term and don't even CARE)
was the most handy solution for me,
click on the no script sign corner right bottom of FF,
and allow some sites i trust (a little)
some minimum stuff (like displaying (java?) hover-pictures (statistics etc.)
now this temp. allow. (or whatever) (it was the last position at bottom in the scroll down menu)
is gone.
WHY???
is there a workaround? HOW?
but PLEASE - make it that easy again - i don't like to fiddle through 2 or 3 instances -
this is no fine internet experience.

Re: Temporary allowed is gone? i want the 'version before' BACK!
in fact the noscript add-on is now UN-USABLE for me -
i can click on whatever i want, the noscript sign always changes to a STOP sign now and doesn't allow any script (it seems)
when i change to another site / frame within the site i already did allow EVERYTHING ...
(don't know the english text - in german: "Alle Beschränkungen für diese Seite aufheben" (like: all restrictions done away?)
it EVEN isn't possible to shut down no script plugin addon temporary (would be kind of of solution... *sighs*)
by right-click on the bottom-right icon of it in FF (WHERE is a CLOSE or DE-ACTIVATE noscript menu-point)
to do my work at the site i want to work with !!!

This isn't a problem that is being reported for other users of 1.9.7.7i_wonder-again wrote:first: excuse me for my english.

Something has gone wrong with your configuration of NS perhaps?
Would you like to try opening your Options|Appearance and making sure that Temporarily allow all this page is checked?
If that is already checked, please try resetting all the options to their defaults with the Reset button at the bottom of the Options dialog box. Be sure that you save any important whitelist items by using the Export button at the bottom of the Whitelist tab - being careful not to use the Export button at the bottom of the Options dialog box - that one exports your whole NS configuration, and you could import your existing problem back if you use that one :-)

Hey don't make hasty conclusion. You are barking up the wrong tree.
There is something wrong on your computer.
I'm using 1.9.7.7 and temporary allow IS STILL there.
Check NoScript settings | Appearance to see if you turn "temporary allow" off accidentally.
Restart Firefox and try again.
Create an new profile and only install NoScript if all else fail.
There is something wronglike addon conflicts if NoScript works in a clean profile.

I most strongly advise from a security standpoint that you don't revert to any previous NS versions.and_again wrote:is there any possibillity to go back to 1.9.7.6 (or whatever). PLEASE?
The list of all versions is at the Mozilla Addons site:

Re: Temporary allowed is gone? i want the 'version before' BACK!
If you are the same user making all the other posts in this thread, then it seems that your problems are not just with a single missing menu item (Temporarily allow all this page).Guest wrote:in fact the noscript add-on is now UN-USABLE for me -

If using the Reset function doesn't restore all NS functions the way you want, then there is something very wrong with more than NoScript in your Firefox.
Would you be so kind as to follow the troubleshooting recommendations in the Forum guide? - it is the second link in my signature.
And if I've not understood your problem properly, I hope you can allow that I have no German. Fortunately, there are other forum members who do have some German and together we may be able to help better if necessary.
