Hi - I find that the audio level on flv videos downloaded from Youtube via Firefox/FlashGot is only about 1/3rd of normal volume; is there anything I can do about this?

Not going to be anything to do with FlashGot.
(If you download directly, without FlashGot, do you get the same results.)
Check your audio (Master Volume, or whatever they call it in Vista) & media player's audio settings.
