Hi,
I love no script but i'm somewhat overwhelmed by it. I use uBlock and Ghostery which work well. All i would like from NoScript is to block redirects and popups.

Sure. You're getting stuck because, well, tightening a hex bolt with a screwdriver just is rather difficult.
NoScript is a security tool, not a redirect/popup blocker. uBlock Origin is the right tool for what you want to do.
If you need help getting this going with uBlock Origin, try asking at one of these places -

Re: NoScript Configuration
Sorry, and thank you. The reason i was looking at no script is simple. As far as i can tell they are nested javascript redirects but i couldn't figure out how to block them. There is a popup called Pop up blocker ultimate which blocks them but it was rather annoying because even after donating, i was getting donate more messages.barbaz wrote:Sure. One question i do have is that NoScript breaks stackoverflow.com by saying that javascript needs to be enabled. How would i go about enabling javascript? I went to the tab which has a Java block and unchecked it but it still doesn't work.

Re: NoScript Configuration
Stack Overflow seems to work for me with only these sites Allowed -
BTW, JavaScript is not Java.
Code: Select all
+cdn.sstatic.net
+ajax.googleapis.com
+stackoverflow.com
