A page at which I had been able to selectively block scripts from other domains no longer permits me to do so. I have read the FAQ and searched the NoScript support forum but did not see anything that I recognized as this problem. And I have not encountered this problem at any other domains.
At http://gm-volt.com/ I used to be able to allow that domain while continuing to block scripts from twitter, facebook, etc. No longer. I can now only allow or block the entire page. I am able to selectively block/allow scripts at other pages. Is this the result of a change to NoScript? Could it be a result of something I did? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling NoScript with the same result. Is there a way around this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Selective blocking suddenly disabled at one page
My NoScript menu looks as expected there. The site is script-blocked, and all the scripts show up.
What version of NoScript are you using?
Can you please post a screenshot of your NoScript menu on that page?
Do you see the problem in a new, clean profile with only NoScript latest development build installed and all default settings?

Re: Selective blocking suddenly disabled at one page
Thanks for helping!
NoScript 5.0.2 is installed in Firefox 52.0.2 running on Ubuntu 14.04.
Created new FF profile with only NoScript installed. The problematic page shows up as I would expect and provides the option to temporarily unblock only the primary domain.
This board will not allow me to insert an image of what I see using my default FF profile, nor do I see how to attach it as a file.
So, it appears that I somehow altered the NoScript settings in my primary FF profile. I did try to uninstall and then reinstall NoScript in that profile but that did not eliminate the problem. I looked through all of the settings and didn't see gm-volt.com listed or flagged anywhere. Is there a way to delete just the NoScript preferences in that FF profile?
Thanks again for your help!

Upload it to an external image hosting site, then post the link here.KNS wrote:This board will not allow me to insert an image of what I see using my default FF profile,
First back up your current settings: NoScript Options > Export (the Export *on the very bottom* of NoScript Options, *not* the one unique to the Whitelist panel)KNS wrote:Is there a way to delete just the NoScript preferences in that FF profile?
Then, click the Reset button that's right next to the Export button you just used.

Re: Selective blocking suddenly disabled at one page
Thanks again for your help. I don't belong to any image hosting sites. The menu showed that the options to allow scripts from individual domains were listed but were grayed out. The option to allow the entire page was available.
Your suggestion to reset NoScript worked. My problem has been resolved. May take a few minutes to customize the few options I had modified. But that will be worth it.
I very much appreciate your willingness to help!

I would suspect NoScript Options > Advanced > HTTPS > Permissions > "Forbid active web content when it comes from a secure (HTTPS) connection" got set to something other than "Never".You're welcome, thanks for letting us know it worked.KNS wrote:I very much appreciate your willingness to help!
