The following site has no scripts on the page:
https://gngr.info/
However, NoScript (version 5.0.2) shows a menu entry to "Allow gngr.info". Why is this? Is it because the page mentions the word "script" in the text?
Site without scripts has an menu entry to allow scripts

NoScript always shows that menu entry for the top-level site, whether it has scripts or not.

Ooops, you are right! The other sites I tested were whitelisted by me long back. Hence I got confused. Thank you for the reply!barbaz wrote:NoScript always shows that menu entry for the top-level site, whether it has scripts or not.

Incidentally, whitelisting a site has a few side effects beyond allowing JavaScript, eg it allows the site to make POST requests to other trusted sites without getting filtered.
