Pages not loading (Firefox Mobile 53.0a2 with NSA 3.5a14)
Pages not loading (Firefox Mobile 53.0a2 with NSA 3.5a14)
When running the current version of Firefox Aurora on Android with the current version of NSA++, most websites do not load at all. The progress bar pops up for a split second, then disappears, leaving a blank white page. Changing the NoScript settings does not fix the problem; the only fix that works is disabling NoScript completely.

Well, the problem does not occur in latest Nightly (54.0a1) because NSA 3.5 does not work with that release.

v53 is now in beta. Anything that will make nsa work - as long as the comment above is valid? For the time being I won't upgrade. And in general: Is there any hope for Firefox mobile >= v53 and nsa working together?

I'm not sure that NSA is undergoing very much development...most of Giorgio's focus is on converting desktop NoScript to a WebExtension, I believe. However, that should in theory make it compatible with mobile too.

I've had this problem with Firefox for Android when loading links in Firefox for Android from external apps even with NoScript not installed. I cannot necessarily say it's a NoScript issue.
Regardless, I've opted not to use NoScript NSA for Android until it's more mature- which may not ever happen. The dev has previously noted it's not a focus because not many use the Android version, yet it's not on the AMO site to even be noticed, nor has it been publicized but once on Giorgio's blog 6 yrs ago.
On top of that, without an option to allow top-level sites by default, the Firefox Android ui itself is too cumbersome to manage site trusts. Plus, regardless of which list option you choose, the dialog box only says that it's a whitelist so I can't tell if it really can function as a blacklist.
