Hi, Love the the add-on used it for many years now. Just migrated to a new Wintel box and when I attempted to import my previously exported settings it did not work. I'm using an exported file that I know has previously worked and when I click import and select the file I don't see any errors but when I go check the whitelist, none of my trusted sites are there, it's just the default list.
I'm running a Win 7 sp1 64-bit, FFox 51.0.1 64-bit, NScript 2.9.5.3, let me know if you need additional info. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you please show us the full contents of the export file?

Re: Import function not working
well, it's pretty much just a list of sites trusted/untrusted but it's really long, over 1600 entries, and it seems than one of them or maybe the sheer amount of them are triggering the forum's spam filter ("Ooops, something in your posting triggered my antispam filter.. retry.). Should I not be pasting the contents into the reply? I would attach the exported txt file if it was possible...

You can register and send me the file contents in PM. PMs to forum staff are not spam filtered.
Or you can put it on an external site, such as pastebin, and post the link here.

Re: Import function not working
You used NoScript Options > Whitelist > Export. As you've seen, that only exports your whitelist and Untrusted list. When you import, it'll merge with the existing entries.
Did you intend to export the entire NoScript configuration? If not, you just need to use the Import button unique to the Whitelist panel, *not* the one on the very bottom of NoScript Options.

Ah, That's it, I never really noticed the two sets of buttons and mixed them up. Thank you so much.barbaz wrote:you just need to use the Import button unique to the Whitelist panel, *not* the one on the very bottom of NoScript Options.
