[RESOLVED] NoScript with wunderground.com

Post by denj »

I am a long time user of noscript. Recently, the behavior with wunderground.com has changed. I cannot see the forecast graphs or radar with noscript running. I say temporarily allow all this page and it does not help. The noscript menu shows no scripts being blocked. The only way I can get wunderground.com to display properly is to completely disable noscript in Firefox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled noscript but this did not help. Allowing scripts globally did not help.
I am on Windows Vista.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dennis

When this issue occurs, do you see anything related in the Browser Console? (Ctrl-Shift-J)
(if you don't know what's related, turn off CSS warnings and post everything else you see)

Er, those are CSS warnings. Please turn off all the blue stuff and try again.

Not sure if I understand. I clicked on CSS and a most messages disappeared. Now, the only message I see is:
Content Security Policy: Couldn’t process unknown directive ‘default-src:’

What NoScript version are you using?

I'm using NoScript 2.9.5.2rc2 atm. Does it work for you with that version?

Should I try older versions?

Thanks for testing that.

Probably no point in that. I think we can now be sure this isn't a NoScript bug.

Please create a clean profile from scratch. Install only NoScript latest development build, leaving all the defaults.
Does the problem still exist?
If not, what if you then import your NS settings into the clean profile using the Import and Export buttons *on the very bottom* of NS Options?
If that still doesn't reproduce the problem, NoScript is not the culprit... try Standard Diagnostic (leaving NS enabled) to isolate and correct the real cause.

Let us know, thanks.

I created a new profile. wunderground.com worked correctly. Installed NS 2.9.5.2 and wunderground.com worked correctly. Imported NS options and wunderground.com did not display correctly

Can you please PM me your exported NoScript config?

Got it, thanks!

As soon as I Allow ajax.googleapis.com, your config seems to work fine for me Image

If you don't see ajax.googleapis.com in the menu, which I didn't at first, you can add it manually in NoScript Options > Whitelist.
