[FIXED] Whitelisted sites becoming blocked, can't unblock
This appears to have started after updating to 2.9.5.2 of NoScript. Many websites that I had previously whitelisted, such as Twitter, suddenly come up as being blocked. The NoScript menu gives me an option to Allow or Temporarily Allow the site, but nothing happens if I click on either option. It lists the site as "https://twitter.com" rather than the usual "twitter.com". Refreshing the page does not help. If I exit Firefox completely then open the site again, it will load correctly with the site properly whitelisted. Then after an apparently random amount of time, the problem will occur again.
This has occurred with several other websites as well.
I am running 64-bit Firefox 50.0.2 with multiprocess disabled (it happened under 50.0.1 as well) on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Have you got any ABE rules involving twitter?
Are there square brackets around that?captpackrat wrote:It lists the site as "https://twitter.com" rather than the usual "twitter.com".

Twitter and other social network type sites are blocked here. Can you please upload your screenshot to a site that's not a social network, such as https://postimage.org/?

Thanks.
When this issue occurs, do you see anything related in the Browser Console? (Ctrl-Shift-J)
(if you don't know what's related, turn off CSS warnings and post everything else you see)

the permission don't works no longer since 2 days in 'NoScript-2.9.5.2'. but only if I "closed that the permission". then the bar will disappear.
and that is only if i go fist too this site> http://www.powned.tv and if i go from there to google.nl or what ever site i go. the NoScript-2.9.5.2 don't works at all.
and if i close the Browser complete. than is it normal again. but that was before the update not the problem at all. so wat is wrong with the new NoScript-2.9.5.2 i don't no,
but it don't works so as it should work;

It just did it again. This time it does have brackets around the address.

^^ Sorry def35 I'm not making sense of that and I rather not make wild guesses.
Please provide more details.
What do you mean by "closed that the permissions"? What bar?def35 wrote: only if I "closed that the permission". then the bar will disappear.
In what ways specifically don't it work at all?def35 wrote: the NoScript-2.9.5.2 don't works at all.

captpackrat, do you have e10s enabled? And do you have a large whitelist? -

e10s is disabled because I have too many addons that aren't compatible.barbaz wrote:captpackrat, do you have e10s enabled? And do you have a large whitelist?
My whitelist is about 1500 entries.

Re: Previously whitelisted sites becoming blocked, can't unb
Let's see if the whitelist length is the problem. Please export your whitelist, using NoScript Options > Whitelist > Export (doesn't actually matter which of the two Export buttons, but do make a note of which one you used).
With that safely backed up, delete all the non-mandatory entries from the whitelist (click one entry, Ctrl+A, hit the Delete key). Click OK to save.
Now add back just one site you had, and any of its dependencies you had previously whitelisted. Restart the browser once that's done.
Are you now able to Allow stuff as expected?

Deleted everything from the whitelist, it then showed Allow twitter.com. When I clicked on that, it then showed Allow https://twitter.com . It will not allow me to select that item.barbaz wrote:Let's see if the whitelist length is the problem. Re: Previously whitelisted sites becoming blocked, can't unb
I may have figured out how to reproduce the error. I noticed that it happens every single time after visiting a site I had marked Untrusted.

Nice find
That's a long-standing bug - viewtopic.php?f=10&t=16994
Time to restore your settings, if you haven't already. Use the Import button that's right next to whichever Export button you used.
