Frame blocker insists to turn off ad blocker

Post by gareauolivier »

Hello,

Online newspaper Le Parisien is detecting ad blocking addons on the browser and forcing a nag frame hiding the article.

The article almost becomes ransomware -- turn off your ad blocker or else!

Example article about truffles: http://www.leparisien.fr/provence-alpes ... 176021.php#

Isn't there anything Noscript can do?

Thanks all.

(I wasn't seeing any issue - without allowing anything & after allowing leparisien.fr.)

(I've fixed it for you this time)

Well, are you using an adblocker?

Does disabling NoScript (Tools > Add-ons Manager > NoScript > Disable > Yes, remove ALL protections) stop the message from appearing?
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
