Is there any ETA for the fix to this bug?

This is stoping me from using noscript and I really want to use it!

@simpson: Why can't you just disable e10s? You are on Firefox 36 where e10s wasn't even considered stable anyway, disabling it might fix other weird issues in your setup also (which you are sure to have in your current configuration).

@barbaz, I'm not on firefox 36. I'm on firefox 48 and have no issues with e10s. e10s is the only reason that allows me to use firefox.

That firefox 36 thing is probably user agent spoofing.

Why?
What happens if you disable it?

It happens that I go back to chromium because firefox becomes unresponsive and overall laggy/slow.

This has nothing to do with you. Am I not allowed to say that chromium is better than firefox without e10s without getting a snarky reply? I guess I caught you on a bad day, hopefully you're not an ass year-round.

I suggest you read this thread: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=12436873 as well as this news: https://techcrunch.com/2016/09/02/multi ... nsiveness/

It is a fact that firefox without e10s is slow and unresponsive. I apologize if I offended your hihi-feelings.

Splitting this lot off viewtopic.php?f=10&t=21592 as it's gone well off-topic now.

Did you even bother to click either of those links or read any of that mozillaZine thread?

:) Nope! If you make a cheeky comment (like telling a forum for a Firefox-specific addon that you've left Firefox for Chromium), then you get a cheeky response.
