[Unrelated] Block Remote Control

Post by admin32 »

Hi,

This request is about website "credential stealing" protection.

Here's my problem: I've a website that I want to protect from multiple non-authorized access.
This may occur when the visitor use a Remote Control software accessing the website through a registered user. In that case my website sees the visitor as the registered user.
You know that Remote Control (RC) can be usually achieved both online (Skype, SkyFex etc..) or with Desktop apps like Teamviewer.
In this post I'm mainly concerned with online RC.

Can I use NoScript (I suppose in my javascript code) to block online RC without telling the user to install NoScript?
Of course the user will not install NoScript to disable RC, because they just want to access my website multiple times bypassing the user license !
I guess I should have a sort of firewall running on my page in order to disable RC, but I'm not sure if this is possible.

Could you please advise.

Mant thanks !

NoScript, like all other browser extensions, is a client-side software only. About the only thing "we" have to offer there is to see if anything here is useful to you, but only Giorgio is affiliated with that site, none of us Moderators can assist with any of that.
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

To put it another way: no matter how many protections you place on a key - locking it in a safe with biometric access inside a room requiring a keycard - that won't restrict what someone else can do with a copy of the key.
