Slimjet browser

Post by barbaz »

I've been hearing a lot of vague hype about Slimjet web browser in the non-Mozilla-related communities I've been browsing lately. So I decided to install it in a (initially offline) test environment and dig through its settings etc... with, er, mixed results. Since it kinda didn't take well to my test environment ;) , before I post my opinion it would be helpful to see what others have to say about it.

What's your take on Slimjet?

(I find it odd that, despite all that hype, I haven't seen Slimjet even mentioned at all either here or mozillaZine. Usually with these type browsers, either some regular @ mozillaZine starts a discussion thread there about it, and/or there's at least one or two fanboys of the browser who go to mozillaZine and randomly wax poetic ;) Image )
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

And isn't that what FF is going to turn into ;-).
