If I enable NoScript, it seems to hang (not responding) Firefox if I visit uk.news.yahoo.com
Does anyone else have this issue?
I've removed and re-installed NoScript to no avail.
If I open the main page for the website, and leave it a couple of seconds, it will have gone into "not responding". I have to end task to get Firefox to restart. If I disable NoScript, the website works ok.
Don't seem to have issues with any other websites.
NoScript and Firefox are on automatic updates. Issue only started yesterday.
Any ideas?

Yahoo related sites have had issues with the XSS filter in the past, but I'm not finding that massive thread now...
As a test - and this is only a test - please disable the XSS filter and try loading the site again:
NoScript Options > Advanced > XSS, un-check both boxes
Does the hanging stop?

Thanks, that seems to have done the trick.
I'm going to re-enable the filters, and try and find another news website (getting fed up of all the sponsored links anyway).

Another option: check the Browser Console to see which domain is triggering the XSS warnings, then completely block it with eg ABE (Options-Advanced-ABE, USER ruleset).
Code: Select all
