[Unrelated] Weird layout

Post by Guest »

Hi,

noscript causes a layout problem on this page: http://kunstpiste.com/im-fokus/kritische-spur/.

All script sources allowed, except google-analytics and googlesyndication.

If I disable noscript, the page will show up correctly.

Any idea?

Best regards

Peter

Site looks fine here with NoScript enabled. Tested both with all scripts disabled and this state:

Code: Select all

-googlesyndication.com
-pagead2.googlesyndication.com
+maps.googleapis.com
+kunstpiste.com
!google-analytics.com
!twitter.com
What NoScript version are you using?
Can you please post screenshot of the "layout problem"?

Thanks for your fast reply.

NoScript 2.9.0.11 (used 2.6 before, same problem)

BTW, what is the best way to debug? It is possible to log messages into the browser-console?

I was unable to duplicate anything like that.

Possibly another extension is interfering?

As a test, create a new, clean Profile, install only NoScript & test.
Then set NoScript settings in the new Profile as they are in your existing Profile & test again.

Shame on me  Problem interferes with ABP (2.7.3). Disable ABP for this site and it works.

Odd. I had uBlock Origin enabled with WAY more than recommended amount of filterlists.
Does the issue occur with ABP enabled and all filters (all subscriptions & all custom filters) disabled? If not, enable one by one the lists (& custom filters/groups, if any) and re-test each time, to narrow down the offending subscription(s) or custom filter(s).

Let us know, thanks.

Seems as if this filter rule interferes with NoScript

Code: Select all

##.oio-banner-zone
There are only two elements blocked on this page. The other one is

Code: Select all

||pagead2.googlesyndication.com^$~object-subrequest
But this one has no negative impact.

Correction. Seems as if NoScript has nothing to do with it. When I deactivated yesterday NoScript, the error was gone. But now it does not matter if NoScript is active or not. Seems as if ABP after a restart does not always do the same. Maybe a runtime problem.

Ah, got it. It looks like it maybe partially related to NoScript? Can't quite tell.
STR:
1) make sure kunstpiste.com is Forbidden
2) add that ABP filter
3) Temp-Allow kunstpiste.com

That hiding filter isn't in any of the subscriptions I normally use, but some searching indicates it's part of EasyList, so please report this issue @ https://forums.lanik.us/viewforum.php?f=64
