I think this stuff is different on Mac - for one thing, the dialog is actually attached to the parent window, not a separate window.

Ah, so they don't resize.
They just didn't make the link (easily) discover-able.
(I expected clicking the thumbnail, then clicking the "bigger" picture on their site, would have loaded at my original size.)
