Also, I needed an xpi viewer to use this so I also downloaded the free bie on your web page. This was full of spam and changed the search to Bing despite unchecking the box. Right pain

Re: how to uninstall, it doesnt work
Uninstall what? NoScript? FlashGot? One of the Uniblue products Giorgio advertises? something else?
If you mean NoScript:
open Firefox, go to Tools > Add-ons Manager > NoScript > Remove > Yes, remove ALL protections
FlashGot can be uninstalled from the Add-ons Manager as well.
Uniblue products are 3rd-party than us, so you would be best off to refer to their support to get help removing it.
Do the same for the inner .jar file if any (rename .jar to .zip,...)
Also,
"We" do not distribute a "XPI viewer". It's probably malware. See General Troubleshooting Instructions #2 for some anti-malware suggestions.

Actually you don't, and anyway you've likely already got the ability to inspect XPIs: Edit the .xpi extension to .zip , then unzip it using whatever you prefer for unzip .zip files.me wrote:Also, I needed an xpi viewer to use this

*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
