Re: java not working even when allowed by extention
Does disabling NoScript (Tools > Add-ons Manager > NoScript > Disable > Yes, remove ALL protections) get it working?

Is that something different from the "java" aspect?
JavaScript is not Java
What domains have you allowed?

Re: java not working even when allowed by extention
Java and JavaScript are completely separate and unrelated to each other.Joe wrote:even after I have allowed the site and uninstalled java Firefox 43.0.4
After you allow the site, what other sites appear on the menu?

Re: java not working even when allowed by extention
I had the same problem and I finally sorted it out. Try this; Open the NoScript Options, click the "Advanced" tab, then click "HTTPS" then on the 'Permissions' tab where it says "Forbid active web content unless it comes from a secure (HTTPS) connection" in the drop-down list select "Never" if 'Always' is selected then JavaScript won't work at all sometimes even when NoScript is disabledJoe wrote:Get this message on all sites requiring java even after I have allowed the site and uninstalled java Firefox 43.0.4

I thought that institutions using OWA host it themselves?

Re: java not working even when allowed by extention
Hmm...we're using Office 365. There might be OWA for a self-hosted version, in which case it could be plaintext.

Ah, the case where I've seen it self-hosted is as a webmail client for an Exchange server.
