Noscript causes firefox to crash on wiki pages

Post by ArtDen »

How to reproduce: Win8.1 x64, FF 40.0.2 portable, Noscript 2.6.9.36rc2
1. Search something in googgle
2. Click link in result pointing at wikipedia page
Firefox crashed.

If to open wiki page not from google search no problem occurs. And it is also ok when Noscript disabled of course.

Sorry for my English :)

What are the script permissions of google & wikipedia? (IOW, what are all the Allowed sites in the NS menu on each of those sites?)

Sorry for late answer. Firefox crashed not after google search. It is enough to enter url of wiki page manually to crash firefox.

For wikipedia I have only one item in NS menu - wikipedia.org and it allowed.

Same permissions as here & no such problems...

FF portable... so are you starting from a completely clean Firefox in the STR in your OP, or is this an existing portable "install"?
