2.6.9.36 causes crash on Youtube

Post by marcel.svitalsky »

Firefox 40.0 (Ubuntu), NoScript 2.6.9.36, visiting youtube -> crash. Disabling NoScript -> YT works all right. Enabling NoScript -> on YT crash.

By crash, do you mean that Firefox terminated? Locked up? What are the symptoms, exactly?

Thrawn: Firefox terminates, sends the crash report and restarts. Usually — but not always — the YT page that caused the crash is not even included among the pages that are being restored during the restart.

(BTW, I appreciate the quote in your signature. Very true.)

try open Browser Console (Ctrl-Shift-J), set up to video capture it, perform the steps that make the crash while video capturing the console, & see after the crash if there's any related messages from ns in the console?
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
