For me the problem is not solved. So many sites with videos and cams do not work properly anymore since 2 weeks or so. Facebook is a big problems with videos, but also other sites. I have to change browser or disable Nocsript completely to watch the videos.
I renewed flash and did all the things on the list to clear cache of flash player etc. but it did not help for me. I haven't changed any settings, its happening since 2 days on even more sites, that videos do not work. I don't know why. I hope anybody can help.

Re: [Invalid] Facebook video doesn't play
@Chris Keith: Your problem is unrelated to the issue(s) discussed in viewtopic.php?f=7&t=20436 where you posted this - your issues extend beyond Facebook videos. Splitting to a new thread.
When it fails, do you see anything related in the Browser Console? (Ctrl-Shift-J)
(if you don't know what's related, turn off CSS warnings and post everything else you see)

Re: NoScript stops videos/cams from working
Thanks for your answer barbaz.
I think I found out what the problem is: Noscript and the add-on "Flash Control" seem not to like each other. So when I remove one of them the videos and cams seem to work properly so far. I decided to get rid of the Flash Control and keep Noscript. Problem solved... kind of
The weird thing is, when I create a new Firefox profile and only install those two add-ons they interact well together.

Re: NoScript stops videos/cams from working
Well I took a quick look at the description of Flash Control, and A) parts of the Q&A (especially #3) make me kinda skeptical of the dev's atittude and B) it seems totally redundant with NoScript anyway. So given the results you found, I think you would be best off to remove it where you want NoScript; & given the overlapping functionality, it's not surprising that they could come into conflict.
Also since you say they appear work fine together on a clean profile, then either there's a third extension (or several other extensions?) coming into play, or some non-default setting on NS and/or Flash Control is causing a conflict.
