This is deliberate:
- about:blank can have scripts injected into it from any site
- about:newtab contains untrusted content (thumbnails & "enhanced" tiles)
- about:reader renders content from the Web in its own context and is therefore not necessarily trustworthy

Oh ok, I didn't think at the moment... Just the trust in Mozilla but yes, you're right.
