Post by BDC »

Heya,

Is there some way to protect the options ?, I would like to like to prevent my child from making modifications to how Noscript is set up. A password option for the Options ?, .

Thanks.

Possibly something here, Configuration utilities for administrators.
(Might be overkill.)

Or maybe there is an extension to do something similar?

I can't find an article for Vista, but this MS article on the Guest Account in XP might give you some ideas on how to set up a limited-rights account for your child, with the ability to use the web but not make any configuration changes. Just a thought to help you get started on that path. I'm aware of Vista's Access Level Control, but not familiar with it, so something in there might work too. Search the MS Knowledge Base for how to configure such limited rights for a Vista user. Let us know, as many others might have the same question. Thanks.
