NoScript Icon Not Showing Blocked Objects

NoScript Icon Not Showing Blocked Objects - in SeaMonkey?

Image

http://music.bolotova.md/track/673974_91274886
Allow bolotova.md
NoScript icon shows nothing blocked
Yet there is a Flash object in Blocked Objects that needs to be allowed before the song will play

(Note that in FF, you get an ogg object [must be sniffin'] & the NoScript icon does display as expected.)

Allow soundcloud.com
NoScript icon shows nothing blocked
Yet again there is a Flash object (...sndcnd.com) that needs to be allowed

(And again, in FF, you get a mpeg object [rather then Flash] to allow, & the icon does display correctly.)

I'm confused. What are you saying is the problem?
So... you're saying that the NoScript icon doesn't show blocked objects in the icon but it show it in the menu, or it's not detecting blocked objects but blocking blocked objects, or...?

Maybe screenshots of the problem would help?
EDIT In any case it would help if you showed images of what the NS icon does look like vs what you expect it to look like.

No blocked objects in my NoScript menu after your STR with either link.
I suspect we need more details of your settings.
Are they the same in Fx and SM? In particular, any difference in HTML5 audio/video and plugin settings between your Fx and your SM?
Have you got "Apply these restrictions to whitelisted sites too" set?
Are the Fx and SM on the same machine?

Now I am testing on a "SeaMonkey 2.34pre2" (with a spoofed UA etc.) and not an official SeaMonkey build of any sort... but I don't think it should matter...

Hold on.. I think I might see what you're talking about on YouTube with my configuration... check your PM in a moment for a screenshot, is that it?

(I'll have to fire up a new Profile... tomorrow, or so...)

Anyhow...

NoScript icon is "white", showing nothing blocked (unlike the image posted above).
No indication that there is anything more to do to get the songs to play.
But there is.
Have to go to Blocked Objects & select the objects (& maybe refresh) before the song will play.

I believe so.

Yes.

New Profile (different computer) is working as expected.
I'll have to see what I can find...?

Can you export the entire NoScript config of the broken NS, import it into a working setup, and see if it becomes broken?

No it's not. I'm deleting the PM.

If it turns out to be a NoScript bug I'll see if I can come up with a test case on my local server a bit later...
