Re: How about a "Report spam here" sticky?
Yes, we've had spam trouble lately. We do our best, but there are a lot of spambots around.
However, there is already a 'Report' button at the top of every post.

Locking down registration may help until a more effective measure is set in place, especially with the constant creation of new bogus accounts.

Locking down registration would help in some ways, yes, but Giorgio doesn't want to make it harder for people to get help with NoScript.
It already cops plenty of flak from people not understanding how to configure and use it. Putting more obstacles up could only make that worse.
We try to keep pretty vigilant about cleaning up spam. If you see it before the support team does, feel free to report it (but we'll probably catch it soon anyway).

Forward it to a moderator (barbaz, Guardian, therube, or myself) and we'll take appropriate action .maya628 wrote:What you should do when you come to your PM and find something you don't know or is spam
