Disable NoScript for single tab?

Post by schoppenhauer »

Hello.

Is it possible to disable NoScript for a single tab? "Temporarily allow ..." will mostly not work the first time (cdn, static..., etc.), and even when it works, the URLs I allow are allowed globally, while I'd prefer them to only be allowed for one tab.

IMO, you would be better of using the Cascade feature.
Enable when you're at your wanted site.
Allow the site.
Permissions "cascade".
So only "subdomains" to your wanted site are allowed.
When finished with your wanted site revoke its permission (Allowance) & at that point all those other "subdomains" are no longer allowed. (If I'm understanding correctly.)

Then disable the Cascade feature.

Still not what you want, but to me, that sounds like a safer way to go about it.

Why is this not implemented?@barbaz

@therube: I cannot find any "Cascade" option.

Probably because it offers no security benefit.
However, if you were to want per-site permissions, that would be doable.
