Noscript icon greyed out in Palemoon

Post by Nimrod »

Hi to all, this is my first post. :)

My problem is that the NoScript Icon is greyed out in the navigation bar in Palemoon version 25.2.1 (x64), but is present and 'live' in the bottom status bar - which I do not want to use. NoScript is alive and well and functions perfectly on the navigation bar in Firefox version 35.0.1.

I have tried reinstalling Palemoon and NoScript but to no avail. How do I get NoScript to function in the Navigation Bar in Palemoon as it does in Firefox?

Is this a compatibility issue?
Does NoScript support Palemoon?

Palemoon is a fresh install, so no previous version remnants left in the registry and there are no other plugins installed. The problem is manifest in both the regular and portable versions of Palemoon.

I am at a loss as to how to resolve this issue and I would really like to use NoScript in Palemoon rather than an alternative plugin.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated. :D

This is the first time i have ever had a problem with NoScript.

Regards

Screenshots of both the greyed out icon and the live icon?
If you right-click a toolbar and select Customize, can you drag the NoScript icon from the status bar to the navigation bar?

Not officially:

Other browsers based on Gecko 1.9.0 and above might work, but are not tested.
However Giorgio has fixed bugs in NoScript reported on PaleMoon before so it might be unofficially supported...

But this does appear to be an issue specifically related to the layout/statusbar differences between the two browsers, so unless Giorgio is running Pale Moon himself, it may be tricky for him to reproduce and fix.

the NoScript Icon is greyed out in the navigation bar in Palemoon
And its getting there how?

Customize, then dragging (moving) the icon from the bottom status bar to the navigation bar?
If so, then its working for me - either from the navigation bar or from the status bar, depending on where I've placed it.
