Hi,
I'm unable to use FlashGot to download videos from all sites.
I typically use Flashgot with WellGet but these sites don't seem to work.
i ' m using the latest version of mozilla firefox web browser, and i have the latest version of FlashGot add-on.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for any help you can provide!

Re: FlashGot problems with WellGet !
Works for me, using NetTransport & Browser built-in.
That message is from WellGet.
Browser built-in, an alternative to a third-party downloader.
FlashGot Options | FlashGot Media -> Download Manager => (Browser Built In)
That message is from WellGet.
^----does not applyIs it possible that the link is stale?
It is not uncommon for video (or other) links to have a "time to live" feature such that the links time out (become invalid) after some set period of time.
Many times FlashGot relies on dependencies originating from IE, even if you don't use IE.
So if you disabled WellGet integration into IE, the possibility exists that doing so can affect FF.

When did "typical" change?I typically use
WellGet is, well, dated, so its not like that changed.

Re: FlashGot problems with WellGet !
I think it is something dealing with https: ?
(Or not.)
Can WellGet handle https: ?
(Yes.)
Wait a minute, it downloaded, successsfully.
Why?

The first number of times I tried - any download, I got the (WellGet) message like you.
Then as I'm writing this response, I jump back to WellGet & see that it downloaded?
Did not expect that.
Running WellGet, sandboxed (Sandboxie).
WellGet is not installed. I simply extracted its contents.
Browser is running normally.
I did not use FlashGot except to garner the URL.
Once I had the URL, I pasted it into WellGet (New Download).
So any issue seems to be on the WellGet end, as I could get the same error message as you running WellGet outside of any browser, outside of FlashGot.

Re: FlashGot problems with WellGet !
The point is that it has nothing to do with FlashGot.
Whatever the issue is, it is WellGet itself.
I don't use WellGet, though I had it on hand, & got the same error message as you - when run directly, outside of any browser. So the question is why is WellGet generating the message, sometimes?
