Hi,
Some forum sites I visit have some scripts I want to block, but not all.
I find that when I visit there, the page keeps reloading and scrolling back to the top, making the page almost impossible to read.
I want to be able to read such pages without having to give blanket permission for scripts, but I can't find how to do it.
It makes visiting such pages very unpleasant and sometimes I can't read a topic at all!
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Continuous reloading of site with blocked elements
Thanks. Do I have to restart the browser? I've tried it in the current session, but it seems to make no difference. The page is still reloading.
Edited to add:
I think I may have found a working combination: I have installed and enabled Adblock and it is blocking some ads. I think the ads must have been reloading every minute or so, and causing the whole page to reload? It's now finally stable. So thanks!

Re: Continuous reloading of site with blocked elements
Most likely you will need to create a surrogate script to either provide the functionality you need, or block what you don't want. To do that, we'll need to examine the page and see what is running.
