malware sites on noscript

Hi,

i've come across a wierd situation the last couple of days..

I'm using noscript for over 2 Years and it's one of the best addons i have on firefox, but like i said recently i have 2 Websites showing up on no script which are being shown on every website i'm on.



I've put them under not trustworthy sites, but i still see this icon

So, do i have to be concerned about this ??

Very much so!
scan your entire system with your antivirus + Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (the free version will do) + (if those don't get it) AdwCleaner

So, i've run ADWCleaner and it found some in registration and in the firefox folder some .js files

and after another run and even a with Malwarebytes there was nothing anymore..

But.. the icon is still

Maybe some extension added by the malware didn't get detected?
Check Tools > Add-ons Manager > Extensions & Tools > Add-ons Manager > Plugins for anything unusual / out of place
Also check your Fx profile, Application Data\Mozilla\Extensions, and the registry (can't remember exactly where but look for anything under Firefox's GUID {ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384} which would have some globally installed extensions)
