Hello Everyone
I've notice that, as of about 2 days ago, facebook has apparently started detecting and blocking browsers (or at least my browser) when using NoScript, apparently much like some sites block browsers using AdBlock. I've been using NoScript with facebook for at least two years and this has never been a problem until now. It started abruptly last Monday night.
When using NoScript with facebook, there have always been two domains which I must allow (temporarily at least) for facebook to load and work properly:
facebook.com
and
akamaihd.net
But now, even allowing these domains, facebook redirects me to a page that says, "JavaScript must be enabled," and gives me only the option to enable JavaScript or logout of facebook. And in the URL bar is: https://www.facebook.com/?_fb_noscript=1
The only way to get onto facebook is to 'Allow Scripts Globally.' I've done a good deal of searching on this but haven't found a fix to the problem, and so far haven't seen anyone else talking about it. Needless to say, I really don't want all facebook's 3rd party and intrusive scripts crawling all through my machine. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, have you found a fix? Thank you
