Only blocked objects can be allowed through the menu in 2.6.9.7

Post by chessplayer12 »

I've really made an effort to plow through the FAQ's and the forums trying to find the answer to this same question. But even the 'answer' provided here hasn't helped me - can't figure out where to add this rule. The real disappointing part is that until I loaded the update NoScript worked great and it was easy to permanently set pages to allow scripts. Now every time I check email, play chess, fantasy football, etc. I have to do the temporarily allow thing. Even then I have to check the "objects" list and figure out which one is key to be allowed.

All I want is to have back NoScript the way I first downloaded it. I use Firefox. NoScript was fine with it all the time. The last update (I did it a couple months ago) mangled the program in my eyes. Please tell me how to simply be able to right click on a page and have the full menu of choices come up (permanently allow, etc.), because since the update even the temporarily allow the whole page thing is gone. All I have to allow a page is the blocked objects list. Thanks very much.

To be clear - the temporarily allow choice is gone from my right click menu. Blocked objects is the only thing I can find and allow. Thank you.

@chessplayer12: i don't think this is the same issue as the one in the OP, so splitting to new topic

go to noscript options > appearance, and make sure the menu options you want are actually checked?
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
