Option "Allow temporarily" is checkmarked; menu never has that item
Option "Mark as untrusted" is cleared; menu always has that item.
Prob arose as of recent NS versions.

Re: menu ignores its settings
Works for me in PaleMoon 24.6.2 and NoScript latest development build (currently it's the same as 2.6.9).
Although I did notice that "Mark [...] as Untrusted" has no effect if "Untrusted" is checked...
Have you got Scripts Globally Allowed or "Allow HTTPS scripts globally on HTTPS documents" set?

Re: menu ignores its settings
I'm having the very same problem. Got the newer version, and my drop down menu went from "allow ...." to "mark as untrusted". When I changed the settings in the options menu, it affected no change. I've not been able to find any fix for this.

Re: menu ignores its settings
Could you please show me a screenshot of the menu and, even better, PM or email me your NoScript Options|Export output file?

Do you have Allow Scripts Globally (untrusted) enabled?

Re: menu ignores its settings
No, I don't have scripts enabled globally.

To be blunt, according to your screenshot you actually DO have scripts enabled globally.whitneys wrote:No, I don't have scripts enabled globally.
Does clicking "Forbid scripts globally (advised)" in that menu fix the problem, and if so, does that persist after restarting the browser, closing the browser, and restarting your computer?

Re: menu ignores its settings
Oh FFS.
It's hard to be an idiot. Seriously... I've been trying to figure out how my settings changed and I never actually *read* the damn menu. Thanks for the bluntness. All is well with the world now, except that apparently I'm a bloody idjit.
