I have systematically removed all Add-ons & Plugins on FireFox 33.1.1 to try and isolate the reason for FireFox crashing and generating an Crash Report when closing FireFox (this only started after the 33.1.1 update from 33.1). In the end I removed NoScript and it solved the problem. I reinstalled NoScript 2.6.9.5 and then FireFox was running/closing as expected (no crashing), but NoScript was not "running" meaning it was allowing ALL scripts to run although it was set-up not to - the NoScript status bar & Icon at the bottom of my FireFox Browser Screens was also missing.
I then completely uninstalled FireFox (removed folder in APP Data etc.), rebooted, downloaded FireFox anew and reinstalled it. I then installed NoScript, and AGAIN Firefox crashes when closing!?
Please help.
Thanks, WimD

What Plugins do you have (about:plugins)?
> crashing and generating an Crash Report
about:crashes, the last few associated URLs?
> completely uninstalled FireFox (removed folder in APP Data etc.
Does that include your Profile?
If not, as a test, create a new, clean Profile & see if the situation persists with that.
