Strange issue

Post by udidwht »

The last 3 times I've turned on my laptop after it's been off for (1) week each time No script has disappeared from the 'Add ons manager' under extensions. That's right...disappeared. I have to reinstall it then after shutting the computer down and turning on 1 week later...poof! gone again.

Anyone know why.

I'm running latest versions of Firefox 33.1.1, Avast 2015, Malwarebytes, Super Anti Spyware...all scans come back clean no infection.

*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

Interesting...I also run No Script on my desktop at home only difference is it runs Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64bit and is powered on all the time except for an occasional reboot. But no issue with any add-ons disappearing.

And you have Avast running on both?
And the virus defs on each also coincide?
