Turning NoScript Off Temporarily

Let's face it, there are times that NoScript is just a "Royal Pain in the A**" such as when I am trying to get a program or a service such as a VPN & need to download some software. I just want it to away for a while, say until I turn it back on! I would appreciate it if the software could remind me say every four (4) hours or so to turn it back on, as long as it permits the option NOT to do so.

Is there any way to manually just TURN NoScript OFF for a period of time. It is a great program 90% of the time, but it is beginning to make me wonder if it is worth if for the other 10% of the time. I don't have all day to "Temporarily all a page" every time I need to reuse it, nor to I need to be stopping what I am doing to whitelist every site that I need to be interacting with, and their Tech Support, who may not be familiar with NoScript, and who may just give up, or give me a case number and tells me to call back when I can see pages, add or change something in the software (not NoScript, the software that is giving me problems), though for the last tw0 (2) weeks it has been interfering with much of what I am trying to do at at the time, at least until I figure out that there is something on the site I am working on that requires me to go through the process of temporarily, or permanently "Allowing" so that I can go on to the next step.

I have "ranted" far to long and I don't want to waste anyones' time so the question: HOW DO I TURN NOSCRIPT OFF WHEN IT IS NOT PROTECTING ME, IT IS INTERFERING WITH WHAT I AM DOING? I DON'T WANT TO "UNIVERSALLY ALLOW ALL" as a permanent setting, just for it to leave me alone for a while so that I can complete something that I need to do without being "responsible to the software" instead of vice-versa?

If it were a restartless extension (which it is not) then you could do it.
As it is, you need to turn off & restart the browser.

Allow Scripts Globally has an option to disable itself on browser restart (noscript.tempGlobal).

Perhaps the Cascade feature might work better (though will not be as secure).
