Any update on this? Can you publish it?

Otherwise:

FlashGot is a popular add-on.
Youtube is a popular video site.
And I simply can't believe I am the only person on planet Earth having this basic problem with the 2 working (or not working) together (with stock settings). :(

{from PM}

Screenshots:

It lists a 14 Mb and a 29 Mb medium webm video; I guess I need the bigger.

Then the problem:

Image

1st, how do I list the respective sizes of each file-downloads?

2nd, the 29 Mb file is not present; only the 14 Mb one.

Am I the only person on Earth with issues of this basis stuff? :(

Stock Firefox; upgraded to latest.

14 & 24 webm I'm seeing, so guessing typo above.

I wouldn't guess.
Let your eyes & ears decide.
Bigger does not necessarily mean better, or at least that is perceptible to you. You may find that the smaller is more then sufficient for your needs, or not.

From browser built-in from your screenshot, looks like it does not show it, so you'll have to determine the sizes ahead of time from to FlashGot Media context menu. Likewise I would start by selecting the individual file wanted (from a right-click of the FlashGot Media icon) rather then blanket selecting all (from a left-click), but whatever works for you.

29 MB (aka 24) is "large" (from FlashGot Media context-menu) so you'd want to select *._large.webm from the Browser Built-in download manager. And then you'd have to also select an appropriate audio/webm selection (if you want audio).

In the 2nd line of the screenshot there is clearly the larger, 29 MB medium webm video I mean.

So yeah, I am talking about medium webm videos (as in the topic title), and there is a smaller (14 MB) and a larger (29 MB) of them. sorry for the confusion.

Clarifying that, does my whole post - or the whole thread - makes more sense? Thank you!

I update this:

My guess is that YouTube does not provide the proper WEBM medium download for all videos, such as this one:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPoAdTj5clU

So, it's a YouTube error, not a FlashGot error; correct?
