Hi from newb.
I comment regularly in the comments under newspaper articles on these web site for example:
http://www.Independent.ie
http://www.standard.co.uk
http://www.irishtimes.com
http://www.independent.ie
Is there a way of enabling a specific comment script without giving a clear light to everything on the web site ? I have tried looking in the "Blocked Object" listing but cannot see anything that looks like a comment script, only font scripts.
Tks

No, there isn't. The best you can do is Forbid the entire site, then download the relevant JS and set it up as a surrogate script.
JSView and/or Firebug might help you find the relevant scripts.

BTW, "Blocked Objects" aren't scripts, they are exactly what they say. So the FONT you saw is actually a font file.

Thanks for that barbaz. Pity. How does one decide to use a site or not ? They could be including anything in their pages that might be tracking or more. One has to allow everything or nothing ...

Remember, privacy and security are two different things. If you're concerned about tracking, then you're concerned about privacy. The best tool for that is probably something like Adblock Plus or similar. NoScript, on the other hand, is the best security tool. It deals with sites actually attacking you (downloading viruses, stealing passwords, hijacking bank accounts, etc).
