Data loss from text fields on 'Allow all this page'

Post by ostridge »

I used NS for some time currently v 2.6.8.39 and I have noted that if I am using a text input form or field such as in http://us.caller-rating.com/00151389820 ... ntarabgabe though such form pages could be anywhere.... If I forget to allow, then fill the form in, then remember and allow all this page after entering the data; there is a problem that all the form fields are not saved on the refresh.

I am thinking that perhaps this behaviour could be changed to save txt fields and when 'allow...' refreshed txt fields to be auto completed. I am saying that this current behaviour is a bit of a pain in the a***; and a fix could be on the wish list?
Thanks for listening. Oz

I'll guess it has something to do with POST (vs. GET)?

The browser is capable of remembering form fields in certain situations. If you want it to remember form fields in other situations, then I recommend something like the Lazarus addon.

Maybe unrelated, but the past few months I've noticed a similar issue on this forum, when I post something that gets caught by the spam filter...
Although strangely, my local server doesn't have that problem, so I had thought it was a server-side issue...

Does it have to do with the change to https: ?
(And yes, sooner or later its going to bite me.)

You know, it might...
But I don't make enough spammy posts to be sure though ;)
